Women in the communities we serve face compounding disadvantages — poverty, limited education, early marriage, and exclusion from economic and civic life. Our Women Empowerment programme works to change this from the inside out, building confidence, skills, and solidarity through self-help groups, training, and legal awareness.
What We Do
Self-Help Groups
We facilitate the formation and strengthening of women's SHGs, enabling collective savings, micro-credit, and peer support networks.
Vocational Training
Tailoring, food processing, handicrafts, and other livelihood skills are taught to women, opening pathways to income and independence.
Legal Literacy
Workshops on women's rights, domestic violence laws, property rights, and government entitlements help women understand and claim their rights.
Leadership Development
We support women to take up leadership roles in panchayats, SHGs, and community organisations, amplifying their voice in local governance.

“I used to think decisions were not for me to make. Now I run my own tailoring unit and train other women.”
